Our Cowgirl Confident Couples' Event is a hands-on learning experience designed for couples who want to confidently work cattle together - building skills, communication and trust through real-world application.
Throughout the event, couples will work through small-group, hands-on sessions designed to prepare them to operate as a confident, capable team.
While designed for couples, this event welcomes working partnerships such as parent-child teams, family members, or close friends.

HANDS-ON SESSIONS INCLUDE
- Foundations of Working Cattle as a Team
Establish shared language, communication, positioning, and awareness when working cattle together. - Cattle Behavior, Pressure & Movement
Learn how cattle respond to pressure and release, and how couples can move cattle calmly and effectively as a unit. - Animal Safety & Situational Awareness
Build decision-making skills focused on safety, awareness, and anticipating cattle movement in real-world settings. - Role Clarity & Communication in the Pen
Understand each partner’s role while working cattle and how clear communication improves flow and reduces stress—for both cattle and handlers. - Facility Flow & Working Environments
Practice navigating common cattle facilities, alleys, pens, and chutes with an emphasis on teamwork and efficiency. - Guided Hands-On Practice Sessions
Small-group rotations allow couples to practice skills together with instructor guidance, feedback, and repetition. - Problem-Solving Through Realistic Scenarios
Work through situations that require calm communication, teamwork, and thoughtful response under pressure. - Final Day: Putting It All Into Action
Couples apply everything they’ve learned by working cattle together, integrating handling, communication, safety, and decision-making into real-time application. - Connection with Other Ag Couples
Learn alongside couples at various stages of their operation in a supportive, encouraging cowmunity.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DISCLAIMERS
Space is limited. Refunds will not be issued for any reason. If you are not able to attend, you can sell your ticket. You can use our private and public Cowgirl Confident Facebook pages to advertise your ticket for sale. A form must be filled out to transfer your ticket - once the transaction between seller and buyer is finalized. Valid tickets or ticket transfers must be presented at registration for event entry.
